Interview loop
The defined sequence of conversations a candidate goes through.
Definition
The agreed set of interviews and exercises for a role, with a stated purpose for each stage and a decision point at the end. Loops are designed to avoid two interviewers assessing the same thing and nobody assessing something important.
Why it matters
The failure is not a loop that is too short, it is one where nobody was assigned the thing that later went wrong. Write down which stage tests what before you start. When a hire fails, that map tells you which stage to fix rather than leaving you to add another interview.
